Bicycle road touring

This is another of my favoured ways to see the countryside. I have a great road bike and "Swoop" as I call her like to do thousand mile road rides. She is fully rigged for touring running 27 speeds most of which I never use, a flightdeck cycle computer and racks all round. Our last good ride was from Yellowknife to Edmonton and we have some more lined up. Cheers, Greg

past summer

The summer past I based my paddling activties on Great Slave Lake and the Yellowknife River system. I live on the lake shore so the put in is easy and the river is only a 7 k Paddle away.

I run a non profit group called Paddlers for Parts and in July we hosted a 3 day Sociable Paddle Affair at the Yellowknife River.
